Please explain your venture to us in brief.
Strategic Online Marketing is all we do! In short, we help ventures and start ups gain quick brand recognition and generate more sales, online.

When did you join the business? What have you brought to the table?
We came into existence in early 2013 with a mind set of providing ROI centric online marketing services. In short, we specialize in getting your online reputation, brand image & revenue part booming together with some very smart online marketing initiatives.

What makes this particular concept different? Are there competitors? If yes, how do you stand out?
Competition, seems like a synonym to the word “Online Marketing”, however this does not affect our style business. We are more focused on how we can improve and expand our business verticals. We see a trend where agencies focus a lot on regular postings and engagement on social media platforms. Whereas, we are more focused on strategizing the existing online and offline marketing pitches of our clients and building a strong platform for Sales & ROI via strategic SEO, SEM, SMO and content marketing.

What is the revenue model?
Like others, we keep things rolling at our end by the compensation received for managing online / social profile of our esteemed clients.

Who are the consumers that you are targeting with the innovation? How is this going to affect them?
Businesses who have been in existence for years are still unaware about the potential of online marketing. We reach out to these businesses and help them create more footfalls at minimum marketing investment.

What is the potential of growth?
It’s Humongous! Online is the next media and is creating huge damp in the revenues earned by traditional media giants. Moreover, we have been for a short time and we have already seen ourselves growing 10 times every year. With E-commerce booming in India, we have a good feeling for enormous opportunities in Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, Email Marketing, Strategic Social Media Marketing, Customer Relationship Management and especially Content marketing. We are gearing up to grab the opportunity with both hands and currently working on expansion of Make My Brand Social in Delhi, Bangaluru & Singapore.

What is the strength of the organization and the scale of operations?
In terms of services, we do exceptionally well in Search Engine Optimization, Pay Per Click Management, Website Designing, Video Animation and Content Marketing on Social Media Platforms. We have dedicated departments for Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Video Animation, Pay per Click, Client Servicing & Business Development. With plans to open 3 more branches by August 2015, we are looking at a bigger picture as a 1 stop solution provider of online and offline marketing services in India.

Give us a brief background of what you were doing before starting the venture.
We have another venture, which is into Event Management.

Future plans:
We are creating a useful product for online consumers. Too early to disclose now

Have you received any funding so far? Are you looking for funds? If yes how do you look to allocate the funds?
We will be looking for funding once we have tested our small little secret and are confident to take it to a larger audience

What challenges did you face when you were starting out?
Quickly after starting, we learnt that business is not always about the sophisticated technology or machine we use. It is about the people (the team) who operates the machines / technology and gets thing rolling.

Hiring experienced candidates was a challenge as this industry is still very fresh. The 2nd big challenge was to build client’s confidence on the medium (Social Media) as small & medium scale businesses in India, still don’t consider a proper budget for online promotion. I’m sure, many agencies reading this interview, would connect with this.

Today, I’m proud that we have been able to provide desired returns and have been able to build brand credibility of our clients with our own unique mantra of strategic online marketing.
